The double-height atrium space has a walkway along one side on first floor level so the artwork can be viewed from loads of angles. Some amazing photos have emerged, it's hard to imagine this photo was taken in Queens, it reminds me more of India. photo Spencer Platt NYC photographer, Helen Levitt (1913-2009). A self-taught, school drop-out... my kind of woman!
Levitt grew up in Brooklyn and focussed most of her attention on local street photography. |
